Women’s FA CUP 1^st Qualifying Round

Brentford Women will be hoping for their biggest crowd of the Season this Sunday when they host Ruislip Rangers in the 1st Qualifying round of the 23/23 Women’s FA Cup.

The ground at Bedfont Sports is covered on all sides with seating and standing areas in all of the stands.

The match day experience is really Family Friendly, with lots of passion and skill on display and often vociferous crowd cheering for the Bees. It really is a great way to introduce the kids and to enjoy a beer (whilst watching the game) with mates.

Ruislip Rangers have a big set up, and are sure to bring a number of fans to Bedfont for this clash, so our women will want another vociferous crowd, similar to last Sunday’s against Hackney, to cheer them on.

Although Karliegh Osbornes Brentford side will go into the game as firm favourites they will be very wary of Ruislip Rangers who won their own league last season

The winners of the tie will receive £1,800 in prize money and the losers £450. The victors were also due to play Women’s National league side, Abingdon Town in the second Qualifying round, but unfortunately it looks like Abingdon Town have folded after they could not agree on a lease with their new Landlords, meaning that the winners will receive a bye and progress directly to the 3^rd Qualifying Round.

If you have not seen our women play recently you will pleasantly surprised as they play a good brand of attacking football and are not afraid to tackle hard.
