Brentford fought back twice from being a goal down to take all three points in this pulsating encounter.
Blackburn took the lead after just five minutes when Rudy Gestede collected the long ball over the Bees defence to fire the hosts in to the lead.
Rovers continued to dominate and look dangerous but it was their keeper Jason Steele who was forced into a worldly save to deny Harlee Dean’s header that was on target and set to creep under the crossbar.
Button in the Brentford goal denied Taylor, saving his low shot and Alan Judge rattled the bar with a beautiful free kick
The Bees equalised with half time approaching and against the run of play when Long’s long range shot was deflected in.
Rovers restored their lead though deep into the first half stoppage time, when former Bee Rhodes turned in the box and passed top Taylor who lashed the ball into the roof of the net.
Jota, the magician scored a spectacular goal, running with ball from inside his own, covering 60 yards as the home defence backed off before unleashing an un-stopable shot to the give the Bees their second equaliser
The Bees were now on top and looking the most likely team to collect all three points.
The winner came ten minutes from the end, when Gray who had replaced Long was perfectly placed when Steel could only parry Jota’s effort into the strikers path and scored the most simplest of goals as the ball appeared to rebound off of his body into the net.
