Brentford Women’s began their new season in with a 9-0 against Hemel Hampstead.
The Bees started brightly when Dana Johnson raced through to lob the on rushing goalkeper.
Minutes later Lavana Neufville doubled proceedings with a wonder strike from outside the box. The shot was too hot for the goalkeeper to gather.
Hemel Hempstead struggled to deal with Brentford on the counter attack who’s wave after wave of attacks were ending in inspired fashion.
Neufville combined with Dana Johnson who slid through Ashley Cheatley for a third. Cheatley doubled her tally shortly after and the Bees were in total control.
Johnson made it 5-0 to Brentford before playing through Cheatley for her hatrick.
Brentford Women’s were in inspired form and Vicky James, the Brentford Women’s captain, scored the pick of the goals with a 30 yard piledriver that looped over the goalkeeper and into the net.
The Bees went in at the break in total control, 7-0 up.
Neufville grabbed her second of the game after the hour mark and the new recruit Lucy Easton grabbed a debut goal making it nine for the Bees.
Brentford continue their new campaign next week Sunday, at home, against AFC Phoenix, also newly promoted last season.
