This week I would like to feature Brentford Girls Under 14’s.

They train every Thursday before us Ladies and play every Saturday, sitting 5th in the Capital Girls League. They are a great bunch of girls who have been playing together since they were 11 years old.

This year they jumped from 9 aside to 11 aside which as we know is much bigger pitch. It took them a while to get used to this but this weekend saw a breakthrough.

Brentford Under 14 girls played Enfield town under 14’s and were losing 3-0 at half time… to go onto win 4-3! With their top goal scorer Sequoia Belworthy adding another goal to her list. Next weekend they have a League Cup final against Enfield Town which no doubt will be a great final to watch!

Onto the ladies!!!!  We have won the Capital Intermediate Capital Women’s Cup! 5-1 against QPR Development. With a great turnout at training and high intensity we were ready to fight for the cup. QPR let the occasion get to them where as we showed people how we play to our finest

Player of the match was Ashley Cheatley scoring a hatrick and Latoya Bailey and Hannah Noonan grabbing the 2 other goals. We played well as a team and everyone got stuck in.

In the two seasons I have been part of this team we have become better and better. I’m so proud to be a bee and part of this fantastic team

Bring on next weekend; on Saturday evening at Griffin Park 7pm kick off playing AFC Phoenix and on Sunday the semi final against Hampstead
Bees you later
