Charlotte Tanner’s Brentford WFC Blog

Charlotte Tanner reflects on promotion for the men and this weekends cup final against QPR in her latest Brentford WFC blog.

Brentford Women’s FC and Brentford FC are promoted! As a Brentford season ticket holder this has been the best Easter ever!! But let’s recap…

At training on Thursday we worked on combination play, one touch passing from defence combining with different players on the pitch waiting for the right time to attack. We also had a goalkeeper coach down for our Caroline, working on diving. After feeling battered and bruised the next morning it looked like she had great fun learning fundamental skills.

Brentford Women’s FC have an exciting few weeks ahead… With a break for easter no game for us this weekend but bring on the Capital Intermediate Women’s Cup Final against QPR Development. It is being played at Imber Court where Met Police FC play near Hampton Court.

We still have two league games to play and into the Semi final of the John Greenacre Memorial Trophy against Hampstead.

On the 3rd May we will be playing at Griffin Park after the Stevenage game 7pm kick off, then the Semi final the following day. The treble is still on!!

Championship and GLWFL Premier Division 2014/2015 bring it on!!

Bees you later
