BIAS would like to thank all of the Brentford fans who travelled to Orient on the BIAS Boats.
The supporters are not only thanked for their excellent behaviour (which was expected) but for also arriving on time and allowing us to board all three boats swiftly and promptly.
Brentford’s traveling support on Saturday was really impressive, you could hear the pre match atmosphere and the Brentford fans singing from the High Road on the approach from the station.
The boat Captains mad sure that every body knew we were on the river, sounding their calxons under every bridge to announce Brentford fans were coming through.
Just over 12% of our travelling support opted to take the boat which proves just how popular the trips are.
It was great seeing people stop and stare from the banks, the flag waving Chelsea fan in his flat being dragged inside by his missus, but a highlight was spotting the two Brentford flags flying high above the River and the Capital from the boom of a tall crane.
Special thanks must go to Jim Walsh for once again arranging the boat trips and to the Brentford FC ticket office who very kindly printed off the Boat Tickets.
Who knows where we will get a boat to next?
