With numbers at training on the rise we looked at combination play and individual technique in the sports hall.
Creating short one two’s in the final third of the pitch, passing and moving, working hard to get that ball back.

Shooting drills is always fun and good practice for our up and coming Semi final against Comets.
We have had a few new recruits down at training which has improved the squad and holds exciting promises for the rest of the season and next.
After a week off due to crazy storms and flood alerts we were back at Clapham Common for the Semi Final. Even though we have won here twice already this season, we were not looking forward to the condition of the short pitch at the Common, we knew it was going to be a tough game!
With the skipper and winger delayed due to a tyre puncher we went 1-0 up with ten women scored by Manuela. Unfortunately their striker got in-between our defence with her speed to make it 2-1 very quickly.
Going into the second half with a full attacking side we tried to stay calm and fight back. Five minutes from time Latoya Bailey scored to equalise (2-2) we were back in it!
After being taken out and hurting my ankle I watched the game go into extra time hoping that we would hold on and nip a goal. Dana was able to score in the first half of extra time and we held on to get through to the Final against QPR development. We had Done it!!
Massive shout out to Ren for going in goal for her first appearance for Brentford WFC!
Bees you later
