The market was buzzing with a mixture of stools and quite a few happy Brentford fans, all grinning proudly and wanting to talk about back to back 5 nil wins and a trip to Wolves.
The alternate red and white gazebos gave the square a real Brentford feel at one of the market and the blue and yellow combination at the other end looked just like oir gazebos looked just like our away colours.
Brentford Market really is a vibrant hub on a Sunday Morning, a real focal point in the high street for those out for a stroll.
We had packed tables, displaying information on Brentford match Tickets, Season Tickets, Junior Bees, Club membership, hospitality, mascot packages, Brentford Business Club, the BFCSST, the Boating Arch, Junior Bees and The Bees Café.
Some of the Club’s exhibition boards used at the recent public consultations were also be on display. Our table top football game again proved to very popular and added a little more fun to the day. Our own leaflets regarding Lionel Road were also be available as will our “Wish You Were Here Post Cards” and the last few remaining Lionel Road car stickers.
Again it was really positive engaging with the local community, hearing their feedback and support for the Football Club.
Hopefully those that we engaged with could see the looks of enthusiasm on our faces when relayed what a good football side we now followed and will see for themselves when we host Peterborough.
We were entertained this morning by the St Faiths Players who present Sim Bad Aladdin –the Panto on Thursday 5th December through to Saturday 7th December at St Faiths Church Hall, Windmill Road, visit the St Faiths Players website for more details.
