Buying tickets

Brentford have receipt of 200 tickets for advance sale of this fixture, with the possibility of more if required. Please note that this match is NOT ALL TICKET.
ONLY ADULTS and UNDER 17 can pay cash at the turnstiles. All other categories (Seniors, Young Persons and supporters with physical disabilities) will need to purchase tickets in advance from Brentford, or from the ticket office at Tranmere.
The ticket office at Tranmere advise that they experience lengthy queues on a match day.

Tranmere Rovers play in Birkenhead on the Wirral, the peninsula set between Wales and Liverpool.

Prenton Park is approximately 222 miles from Brentford.

Getting there by road

Directions from Tranmere Rovers Official Web Site
M6, M56 and M53 to J4. Take the fourth exit from the roundabout onto the B5151 (Mount Road). Continue for 2.5 miles when Mount Road becomes Storeton Road and turn right onto Prenton Road West at traffic lights. The ground is on the righthand side in 200 yards.


Parking will be available costing £5 per vehicle and is on a first come first serve basis (including parking bays for supporters with physical disabilities). The surrounding residential area is all permit holders parking, Tranmere advise that they are very vigilant on match days so advises fans not to risk parking in a permit zone as they will more than likely receive a fine.

Getting there by train

The closest railway stations are Conway Park / Rock Ferry or Birkenhead Central, all served by services from Liverpool Lime St
The total journey time is just under 3 hours, including conncections.
Services from London run out of Euston Station with Virgin Trains (08457 222 333) while local services are operated by Merseyrail (0151 702 2071) Underground service
All stations are are at least a 15 minute minute walk from the ground – Birkenhead Central is approximately a 30 minute walk.

Perhaps a simpler option might be take a taxi from Liverpool (Lime Street), but obviously you would need to confirm the fare in advance.
