Getting there by road

Directions from Official Gillingham Web Site
Exit the M2 at junction 4 onto the A278. Follow signs for Gillingham driving over two roundabouts before taking the first exit off the third roundabout onto the A2. Continue until you hit the next roundabout (Premier Travel Inn to your left) and take the third exit onto the A289. At the first roundabout take the first exit onto Cornwallis Avenue. Continue along Cornwallis over the traffic lights before turning right into Toronto Road. Take the second left off Toronto into Redfern Avenue, where you will see Priestfield Stadium on your left.


It appears to be a case of street parking, but you may have to be prepared for a walk to the stadium. Parking restrictions apply in most roads immediately surrounding the stadium and traffic wardens are known to be vigilant.

Getting there by train

Services to Gillingham are served by South Eastern Trains – if travelling from the Brentford area you would probably be travelling by train to London Waterloo and then change there for Waterloo East and South Eastern services.
Journey time between Waterloo East and Gillingham is around 1 hour 20 minutes.
Other South Eastern Trains services to Gillingham operate out of London St Pancras and London Victoria.
The St Pancras service is fast (approximately a 45 minute service); the services out of Victoria normally take around 55 minutes.

It is approximately a 10 minute walk from the station to Priestfield.
