With our biggest pitch ever, our combined “Out and About and Stadium Action Group team” were rushed of off their feet at the Open day: Read on to learn more about our latest success
The First team squad were at the event and it was great when players came over to learn about more about the new stadium and to pledge their support to the project.
The BIAS team were all wearing BIAS branded “support Lionel Road stadium T-shirts which really helped us to stand out in the crowd and meant that supporters knew who to ask and who to approach and it was good to see the players wearing them too
At the front of the pitch we had a three packed tables, two of which designated for supporters to complete our very popular ‘Wish you were here’ postcards.
Our Centre table housed our ‘Out and About’ Library displaying information on Season Tickets, Club Membership, Family Tickets, Junior Bees, Mascot Packages, 2013/13 Fixture lists, Brentford Business Club, The Bees Café, plus lots of the BFCSST material.
Our own leaflets promoting Lionel Road were on display and our ‘Wish you were here’ postcards were available.
The exhibition boards which explain the new stadium proposals in great detail were well read.
The model of the new stadium located within its surroundings was very popular as was our table football game which is great for attracting kids and keeping them occupied whilst we talk to the parents.
It was good too, to meet quite a few new Bees fans, families who had made their debuts at Wembley and were now looking forward to watching the Bees at Griffin Park
It was really positive engaging with Brentford fans, hearing their feedback and support for the Football Club. The “Wish You Were Here Post Cards” were very popular
BIAS gained quite a few extra members too which is always pleasing.
