The BIAS Stadium Action Group needs help at The Brentford Open day at Griffin Park this Sunday. Read on if you can you assist with promoting the club’s planning application for Lionel Road South or want to know what we’ve got planned
The Open Day will run from 12noon until 3pm and the players will be present from around 1.15pm until 2.30pm.
BIAS volunteers will be out in force in the coming weeks to maximise support for Brentford FC’s planning application on the Lionel Road Community Stadium.
BIAS will be distributing and collecting ‘Wish You Were Here’ postcards that have been designed so that supporters can easily demonstrate their support for the scheme.
These colourful and innovative cards feature a picture of the new stadium on one side and contain some of the key messages in support of a new stadium on the reverse.
Supporters will also be able to add points of their own if they wish and these eye catching postcards will be accepted as support by the Planning Department at Hounslow Borough Council.
Bees fans in favour of the planned community stadium can post them to the address on the postcards, or hand them back to the BIAS volunteers and who will do the rest.
We will also be making available our colourful “Support The Bees – Support Lionel Road” car stickers. These will be free to BIAS members and available to non members for a 50p donation towards the production costs of these car stickers.
If you are able to assist BIAS at the Open Day, Community events or the early matches in the new season please contact BIAS at STAG@bias.org.uk
