Our “Out and About team” were well received in Brentford Market this Sunday. In fact our pitch was so busy we were often rushed of off our feet.
Brentford Market is a vibrant hub on a Sunday Morning, a real focal point in the high street for those out for a stroll.
The Market provided a gazebo under which we displayed as selection of the Lionel Road Exhibition boards.
At the front of the stall we had a packed table, displaying information on Season Tickets, Junior Bees, Brentford Business Club, the BFCSST, the Boating Arch, Junior Bees and The Bees Café.
We also had our own leaflets regarding Lionel Road, Our “Wish You Were Here Post Cards” and the Lionel road car stickers.
It was really positive engaging with the local community, hearing their feedback and support for the Football Club. The “Wish You Were Here Post Cards” were very popular
BIAS gained an extra member and hopefully we have facilitated a season ticket sale.
We made friends too, and were able to introduced to Brian Burgess to a couple of individuals who were really keen to explore how their establishments could build a relationship with Brentford FC and mutually benefit from Lionel Road.
We were asked back next week which we had to decline as we will be the Brentford FC open day. It was then pointed out that we were not advertising it – problem solved though as were soon given the use of a chalk boards so that we could make good our error.
It was a good morning, it was certainly worthwhile and yes, we will certainly be going back
