The match day prices for the Celtic friendly have certainly raised a few eyebrows but Bees fans can save some money by buying their tickets in advance and can spread the cost of watching the friendlies by purchasing their Celtic tickets out of their June pay packets.
The Football Club reviewed the ticketing allocations for the eagerly anticipated Celtic match, and BIAS has welcomed the Club’s decision to reconsider their original allocation plans for this prestigious friendly.
The Football Club have taken into account supporters’ feelings about the arrangements for this match and consider our proposals regarding the allocation of stands within Griffin Park.
Celtic fans have now been allocated the Bill Axbey Stand and the Brook Road Stand and Brentford fans have been allocated the BIAS stand and for the first two weeks of sale that the seating in the Bees United stand should have been sold on a Block by Block basis with any unsold tickets going on general sale and we are pleased that this will now be the case.
This Celtic match is our Club’s most prestigous friendly for a number of years and has been arranged to give our team an even bigger challenge as they prepare for the new season.
Celtic who are Scottish champions and who reached the last 16 of the Champions League last season are of such a high stature that they demand a fee to play in these games.
Tickets for this high profile friendly are on sale NOW and Bees fans have a two week period which is ending SOON to show the Football club that they were right to change their arrangements and to purchase their tickets for the BIAS and Bees United stands.
Should the demand prove to be sufficient, The Bees United Stand will be exclusively for home supporters only, however if sales for this part of the ground are slow, the area at the Brook Road end of the stand will go on General Sale.
Celtic have already sold out the Brook Road end of the ground and the Bill Axbey stand is expected to sell out this week.
BIAS would like to strongly encourage those supporters who were anticipating staying away now to now purchase their tickets in the next few days before the initial two week window closes
Tickets can bought by visiting the Ticket Office at Griffin Park which is open from 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday or ordered by telephone on 0845 3456 442 – option 4.
