BIAS would once again urge all Brentford supporters to check their bank statements if they purchased Wembley Play Off Final tickets through TicketZone.
We make this strong recommendation because a large number of Brentford and Bradford supporters have claimed to have had fraudulent charges made to their accounts after buying their via Ticket Zone and the problem appears to be on going.
Brentford FC released a statement on the 24th May their website which stated an “An independent investigation of Ticket Zone’s systems and those of the specialist online queuing company, Queue-it, is now underway and the Police Active Fraud Department have been informed about the security incident and are also investigating.”
In a poll conducted on the Griffin Park Grapevine, 117 people have so far reported that they bought Tickets online with either a Credit Card or Debit Card and that there have been unauthorised transactions.
In the same poll, a further TEN people have claimed that they bought Play Off Final Tickets from Ticket Zone by phone with either a Credit Card or Debit Card and that there have also been subsequent unauthorised transactions.
Any supporter that believes they have a problem with a booking made via Ticket Zone should please contact them by email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone 08444 99 99 55 (option 3).
BIAS have asked Brentford FC to issue a further update and to do all that they can including e-mailing people on their database to ensure that Supporters are aware of the problem the that other supporters are facing and check to see if they too have been effected.
