Brian Burgess attended last nights really positive BIAS Stadium Action Group meeting.
With progress being made with the new stadium the Associations Stadium Action Group (StAG) has been reconviend.
Richard Merritt the BIAS chair introduced all of the attendees to those who had volunteered and been head hunted to join the group and advised that the scope of the subcommittee was to make the new stadium at Lionel Road happen.
The team were given feedback from Monday might’s Lionel Road Liasion Group meeting, discussed the ongoing analysis of the Associations Big Brentford Survey, decided on a campaign strategy and appointed the following lead roles:

Campaigns – Paul Stedman, Anna Mason, Matt Dolman
Communications – Lisa O’Brien
Media Monitoring – Kath Richardson
Archtectrial advice – Matt Dolman
Safe Standing Champion – Gemma Teale
Supporter Communictions – Adam Hobbs
Transport Issues – Darrel Goddard
Community Liaison Officer – Kath Richardson
STAG Expenditure – David Gathergood
The team decided that pamphlet explaining the scheme, the reason why the new ground is needed and the vital role that all Brentford supporters will have during the close season should be issued at the Portsmouth home game.
At the end of the meeting the group were given a preview of the material created for forthcoming public exhibition and our feedback was appreciated and well received.
