Encouraged by a large and noisy away support the Bees did the double of Crawley and in doing so moved to 5th in the table.
It all started so well for the Bees, within the first minute BWP pushed Donaldson through, the Crawley defender held Clayton back and was given his marching orders whilst the Bees were given the pen. Alas Clayton missed the spot kick.
Clayton made amends for the penalty miss when he put Saunders through who scored with a superb strike.
The Bees were now bossing the game and Clayton double the lead when he rounded the keeper to slot home into an empty net.
At half time there was only one team in it but things turned when Forshaw who had already been booked beat a couple of Crawley players as he cut in only to be fouled on the edge of the area. It looked a stonewall pen but the ref from his angle saw things differently and sent Forshaw off for diving.
It was now 10 vs 10 and a rejuvenated Crawley equalised when Nicky Adams hit a beautiful shot that deserved to be applauded.
The Bees substitutions strengthened our defensive abilities and the Bees held until end of 90 only for the ref to add 7 minutes of added time.
Only the ref knew were the 7 minutes came from and for the next 7 minutes all you could hear was the word 7 being exclaimed from the terraces.
