A third boat has been booked and we will now have a flotilla from Kew to Chelsea Harbour, for the FA Cup 4th round replay match at Stamford Bridge.
Due to the tides and scullers on the river (Sunday morning) the boat(s) will go direct to Chelsea Harbour, arriving at 10:30, where it is a reasonably short walk to Stamford Bridge (we guess around 15-20 minutes or so).
Prices for the one-way trip are as follows: • BIAS members £10 • Non Members £12 • Kids £5
The departure time of the first boat will be at 08:15 and for the second boat at 08:30 and the third boat at 8:45
The on board bars are reasonably priced and will be fully stocked. Strictly no Alcohol is to be taken on board (all drinks must be purchased will be a bar on board).
Bacon and sausage sarnies will be available on all three boats.
The boats are one way only and you will need to make your own travel arrangements after the match
There are a few places still available and if you are interested in travelling on the boats please either e-mail feedback@bias.org.uk stating how many Adult and Child places you will require or PM 8Corner on the Griffin Park Grapevine.
It would be very helpful if people could pay Jim Walsh and get their boat tickets tonight at the Stevenage game if at all possible. Jim will be in the Griffin between 6pm and 7pm this evening and then in his usual spot on the New Road for the game.
