Two Penalties from Macdonald and a brace from Weston saw off Pantomime villains Gillingham.

Gills: vivacious but clumsy.

Macdonald won the first penalty. The second was soft. Two minutes later on 33”, Weston thrusted into the box for the third. Weston bagged his second on 78”, a splendid ball from Diougaraga.

Andy Scott: “delighted to get into positive goal difference” and “52 points is still the target”. He praised Saunders.

Mark Stimson was surprisingly sanguine. To quote Goethe: “A man’s manners are the mirror in which he shows his portrait”.
