"The ground was essentially rebuilt in the 1990's and has become a superb small football ground with a capacity of only around 7000.
The ground has a huge advantage in that it is sited within walking and thus parking distance from a brand new shopping complex in the area of the Marina. Do allow plenty of time when driving to the ground as the traffic in the town centre ( through which you have to pass) is consistently bad.
Away fans are given the Rink End behind one goal which is an all-seater stand. Terracing is behind the opposite stand and is covered. A low stand on the "main" side of the ground is reminiscent of maybe Chester City's ground and is faced by a larger stand opposite that has terraced areas in front of the seats.
The ground has a great atmosphere with only 5000 inside and by all accounts owes a great deal to one of their former directors - Harold Hornsey - who essentially played a huge role in rescuing the club during some dark times in the 1990's. He sadly passed away in March 2004." - Chris Bushe, www.footballgroundz.co.uk
